FIELDWORK SUPERVISION

Aspire Learning Center is pleased to offer a Supervised Independent Fieldwork mentorship program. As part of the mentorship program, accepted behavior therapists will engage in various behavior analytic activities that are aimed at establishing, refining, and growing their clinical repertoire. At successful completion of the program, behavior therapists should have the various skills needed to be an effective, competent, and clinically sound BCBA.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Aspire Learning Center is an approved clinical worksite by multiple local universities and colleges. If a behavior therapist chooses to participate in their own collegiate institute's Fieldwork program Aspire Learning Center is able to support providing unrestricted and restricted hours.

Aspire Learning Center is also partnered with Endicott Colleges and offers discounted tuition to those enrolled in Endicott's Masters in ABA program.

Behavior Technicians help support children with ASD engage in individual, large, and small group activities allowing them to learn skills through play based and skill-based activities. Each team is supported by 2-3 BCBAs, a certified Teacher, Lead Behavior Technician, and an Early Education Program Assistant.

Behavior Technicians implement ABA goals and teaching methods naturally into activities providing a more organic way for a child to receive their ABA therapy.

Behavior Technicians get the opportunity to work with BCBAs on more intensive therapeutic services such as Feeding Therapy, Sleep Consultation, Toilet Training, Assessment and Treatment of Challenging Behavior, and Functional Communication Training.

They work with colleagues and supervisors to ensure curriculum is age-appropriated, individualized, and aims to increase skills across all domain areas.

All Teacher job functions are supported by an applied behavior analytic treatment environment and methodology. Their classroom is supported by 2-3 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who work collaboratively to support the integrated environment. Children in the room diagnosed with autism are supported by Behavior Technicians.
